We got together last Sunday night (Dec 13th) at EATON in Ashfield to celebrate Siri's successful eye operation, Dee's visit to see her daughter Tatsanee into a new unit, Ping's excellent university results, and to welcome Rujee's return from Europe.
Siri, as always, excelled in the food department enabling us to enjoy some of the best sea food in Sydney, complimented by some lovely wine from Ping's collection. Ping is certainly following Piti's footstep as a fine wine connoisseur. Also lovely to meet Somnuk and Piyada's son Vorn who is in Sydney to pursue his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.

See how the North was won and the West was conquered by CP69s, and how we tested run the Wrest Point casino model – the first casino in Australia.

Dear friends, Just briefly report on the meeting. Ying made a very good lecture on the subject of corruption and democracy. Her presentation was very informative and humourous at points, and was much appreciated by the audience. A few of CP69 friends attended the meeting. Please see the attached photos. Best Regards, Wichit (Photos of the Meeting have been added to our Web Album)
We had a wonderful trip on Sat 13 June, the sun was not too bright, the rain was only light, but the friendship was very warm. Special thanks to Ying for her hospitality to let us visit her lovely holiday residences in Cha-am and Hua Hin.
Please share with us the joy of the trip.
I am sending the photos in 3 set( about 3-4 MB each) to avoid overloading the email.

I must say it was really something special on Sunday to have 22 of our CP69'ers (out of total 33) to come and celebrate our 40th anniversary and also having friends and family members to join us.
Special thanks to P' Kasien for always supporting our group.
Ying kindly brought her note book and projector and showed the photos which brought us down the memory lane and also recent photos as well.
Wiwat(accompanied by Thip, his lovely daughter) presented us about the project to protect the enviroments of Songkhla Lake and gave us books and CD about the project(Wiwat,I am sorry I was busy with other things and did not catch what you presented,I promise to study your books and CD).
Vute presented about the special book to mark our 40th anniversary. Vute, could you please update the status or progress and what you 'd like us to do regarding the project to all of us CP69'ers again, please ?
Phongsak explained to us about the web sites he created for us.We can log on to cp69.blogspot.com which can lead us to many other linked web sites.
We all had a great time,as you can see from the attached photos(which I am sending in 3 sets).May I thank Ar for taking all these photos and edited them late into the night, after we got back from the cruise.
PS. Please note that Minsarn has changed her email address to mingsarnk@gmail.com .

The occasion should be called " 40th anniversary reunion luncheon". Sorry for previous error.
I suggested that we will have another big reunion to mark the 50th anniversary, somebody mentioned that perhaps we should make it on the 45th anniversary first. Please eat well, exercise well, sleep well and we will make it to the 60th anniversary!

The cruise along the Chao Phraya river was very good. The boat, food, music and night views along the river were excellent. But the best was the company of us,CP69'ers. Good place, good food and wine, good company, these are the things that we are lucky to have.
Please share the joy with us through attached photos.
Hello CP69ers. It's been a great day today with lunch at Chan Pen and the river cruise dinner. Yesterday pre-anniversary tour to Cha Am and Hua Hin was also very enjoyable for those who attended. Lots and lots of thanks to Wichit & Ar and Ying for working hard to organise the events.
This blog will be updated, hopefully, with more stories and comments of the events when someone has time :) Of course our photo album will be uploaded with new photos in the next few days.
We had another good and enjoyable get-together last Sunday with Jeab,Dua and especially Noi, who joined our reunion in BKK for the first time. This was also the first time after nearly 40 years(!),many of us. met Noi again. But our CP69 bond is very much alive(and will definitely continue). Noi and I would not recognise each other if we met on a street. My last image of her is a quiet, little skinny girl( I was a quiet ,skinny boy myself also).
Now she is an elegant, graceful lady who really enjoyed talking and sharing experiences with friends. we hope to see her again next time she visit BKK.For those who could not recognise her,she is sitting in the center in the group photo.
We had some discussion about our 40 anniversary reunion in Bangkok on last Sunday of June this year. If we know how many of our friends(and families) can join,we(who live in BKK) would plan for some special event(besides having lunch or dinner). Please make comments or suggestions.
Today, I have had a fun time searching YouTube for good old songs we heard so often on radio back in 1969. I didn't watch much of the b/w TV back then. We had to share TV with the landlord/landlady; and they didn't want us to stay up late burning up energy in the heater.
The major source of music I had was a little FM radio I brought with me. 69 and 70 were the years that radio music got in my head most. Whenever I hear these songs I get a nostalgic sensation of certain time and place.

Jee's trip to Sydney in February has given us one good reason to meet at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Ashfield called EAT-ON. P'Moi and Poobate also joined us to complete the Sydney team, and all were rewarded with Rujee and Colin's home brand honey to go home with. A couple of photos of the evening to share with you all.
