*** Wedding of the Year ***

Dear CP69 friends,

I would like to share some excitingI news with you all. Our daughter Parisra (Pear) will be getting married this August with Alexander Rosemont. They have been going out for around 5 years!

Alex is an Aussie boy who was often involved in the music and movie industries. He recently worked as a tour manager for a popular Australian band, touring around the USA for a month earlier this year. The band is so popular in the USA that it was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. Alex currently works at the Sydney Opera House as an assistant to the stage manager, where Pear and Chart are regular audience members.

At first, Pear & Alex were simply going to go to Thailand to have a blessing ceremony at the temple. But as the timing was good (with our whole family in Thailand), they have decided to get married in Thailand, wearing traditional Thai outfits. Pear and Alex have chosen to have a very simple wedding ceremony with only immediate family present, as they feel that this will make the moment very intimate and special. We will be in Thailand between 14-18 August (Siri, Chart, Pear, Joey & Alex) before our family goes on a further trip to the UK and Europe. Siri & Chart will be back in Thailand during 23-26 September. We hope that we may be able to catch up with you during our visit to Thailand. Otherwise, there is always next time :)

Cheers,Siri & Chart

RE: Dua's Visit

Dear friends,

I should be available on Sunday 26 August for lunch.May I suggest buffet lunch at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel. The food here is good and I have special discount which will make the net cost to be about 500 Baht per person. The hotel is on Sukhumvit Soi 22,if you use BTS,get off at Prompong Sytation(in front of The Emporium) then take a nice walk thru the park or take a very- short taxi ride to the hotel. But if you like Dim Sum, we can always go back to the Siam City Hotel.

If you have any other place, please suggest.

Looking forwards to see old (I mean "long- time") friends again.

Pongsak,I appreciate you creating the CP69 blog.I hope you can join our coming get-together with Dua,so I can ask you more as how to utilize it.

Cheers,

Wichit

Wichit/ Ying: Could I impose on you to recommend a restaurant and time?

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Cheers,

A bit of nostalgia

Certain songs remind us of what we were doing in the past. Today I heard a tune which gave me a sensation of Sydney in 1969. It was a Niel Diamond's number that I often heard from Winai. You can get this mp3 from the link on the right. What are your nostalgic songs in the 60's and 70's?
